Question: If angels can fall, why can’t demons rise?
The definitive answer only God can know!
IMO; and from my reading of the Bible; only humans have the free-will for remorse, and therefore forgiveness!
Demons (as I understand it); have lived with God in His domain as angels; and despite that intimacy with God have shown rejection, knowing what their master Satan stands for (evil)!
The only way I can begin to understand this is as a “saved person” (i.e. Christian); who does not want to offend my Maker, Master and Friend; because there is always a separation until remorse gives the desire for forgiveness, which brings forgiveness from God the Father!
King David stood out in his pain when he had seriously sinned against God; and his psalms (32 and 51) show that he felt that deeply; and his desire for forgiveness and relationship continuation are very moving!
For the Christ-One (Christian); there is even more impetus; as we have the knowledge of our Dear Saviour's Agony, in His Sacrificial Death for all who Will to be made perfection through His Body and Blood of the New Covenant; which He inaugurated at the Last Supper ( Luke 22:14–20)!
